Summary

Provide interim support while the current Partnership Manager is on maternity leave by nurturing and growing the community of partners who are fueling the long-term economic viability of sustainable small farms and ranches, with a particular focus on values-aligned businesses. The Interim Partnership Manager will leverage a relationship-centered approach and support the Bay Area team in activating and engaging additional audiences, including community and mid-level donors, and values-aligned tech companies.

Primary Responsibilities (What You Will Do):

  • Implement, and adapt as needed with guidance from Director, the relationship-building strategy, execution and deployment for retention and growth of Values-Aligned Business partners, including building and nurturing relationships with existing and prospective funders, conducting prospect research;
  • Orchestrate and produce mission-driven engagement events to retain and grow our community of supporters
  • Prepare and support annual grants, including proposals and reporting, within the realm of values-aligned businesses, at both organization-wide and regionally-specific levels;
  • Participate and provide thought partnership in the relationship building strategy and deployment with community and mid-level donors and tech companies with values-aligned food programs;
  • Manage, in a timely fashion, administrative tasks which include: expense reports, invoices,

The ideal candidate for this position should have exceptional organizational skills, strong writing abilities, and have customer service in their DNA. This is a 25 hour per week contract position from December 2019 until June 2020. The contractor must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Contracted hourly rate is between $60-75, commensurate with experience.
