Tinisha Hancock

Tinisha embraces learning new things, whether the lessons come from being immersed in nature or in a spreadsheet. With her unique blend of experiences, she brings a science-based, financial perspective to her work on the programs at Multiplier. Prior to coming to Multiplier, she worked in nonprofit operations, studied microbes (microalgae & bacteria) and taught biology at St. Edward’s University and the University of Texas. She is passionate about protecting biodiversity and exploring financial & nature-based solutions to climate change.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dog, traveling, hiking, backpacking, biking, running, swimming, gardening and adventuring. She has a deep appreciation for all things chloroplastic especially algae and the desert plants of her native Utah landscape.
