Miles Hu

Miles Hu is a Managing Director at RWT Horizons. He joined Redwood Trust in 2022 and brings over 20 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on M&A, venture capital, and direct investments. Throughout his career, Mr. Hu has led buy- and sell-side transactions, managed company integrations, and driven corporate strategy initiatives across multiple sectors, including commercial real estate. He has completed more than $20 billion in investments, acquisitions, and dispositions spanning various industries and financing stages. Mr. Hu previously served as an Investment Director for a Single Family Office and as a Venture Partner for ARM IoT Fund. Early in his career, he spent over a decade at GE Capital in a range of leadership roles. He has served as a Board Member / Observer to multiple companies across different sectors including startups, non-profits, and public companies. Miles graduated from the University of Maryland and holds an eMBA from Columbia University, London Business School, and The University of Hong Kong.
