Timothy Vaughn

Timothy M. Vaughn is a seasoned executive with extensive mergers & acquisitions experience. He currently consults to private equity firms and individual owners of architectural and engineering firms on corporate development activities and M&A transactions.  He is the former Executive Vice President of M&A at Bowman Consulting, and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Universal Engineering Sciences (UES).  With Bowman, he led acquisition activities that contributed to Bowman’s growth from 700 to more than 1,700 employees following Bowman’s IPO. Tim founded Acuity Financial Services Group, completing more than 100 M&A transactions, and several hundred business valuation engagements for firms operating in the architectural, engineering and federal government contracting industries.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in natural resources (sustainability studies) from Virginia Tech University.
