Kayla believes that systems are at the core of culture. To her, culture isn’t a personality trait or a set of aspirational values on a wall, it’s a repeatable process shaped by the systems people interact with every day. When processes are clear, fair, and well designed, values become operational and a healthy culture emerges naturally as a result.
Her passion for People Operations comes from a deep love of both people and structure. Kayla is energized by designing systems that create consistency, reduce friction, and help teams focus on meaningful work instead of navigating chaos. She brings a systems-thinking lens to everything she does, translating complexity into clarity and building frameworks that support trust, equity, and sustainable growth. Kayla applies her strengths by partnering closely with leaders to design people practices that are thoughtful, human, and built to last.
What brings Kayla joy outside of work
Outside of work, Kayla is a toddler mom, enthusiastic cat wrangler, and lifelong lover of books. A former theatre kid at heart, she brings curiosity, creativity, and a sense of play into all areas of her life. She’s always down to try new food, values good stories and good conversation, and loves to laugh, especially in the everyday, imperfect moments. She finds joy in learning, exploring, and building a life that’s as intentional as the systems she designs.
