Sheba is fueled by a sense of solidarity: the belief that we’re all essential leaders on a shared journey and in a collective movement. Her goal is to help people recognize their power and connect strategy to action so bold ideas can move forward. Her experience across grassroots organizing, social service design, and cross-sector strategy has deepened her respect for the different roles and pathways that contribute to meaningful change—and the importance of coordination, commitment, and shared vision across a system. Living in a range of communities has shaped her sensitivity to how place, identity, and access influence the way we move through systems—and what is needed for real, lasting change. A commitment to human-centered co-creation and a Master of Public Administration have reinforced her drive to work across scales with humility and care. She sees her role as helping people find their thread—then weave it into something purposeful and resilient.
When not listening to The Indicator (her favorite podcast), Sheba is getting to know a new city on a walking tour or at an open mic, soaking up stories of people, place, and local pride. She’s passionate about the arts as a bridge to new ideas and likes to seek out or try her hand at creative ways to push beyond our mental models, from theatre to metal sculpture. She’ll admit she goes overboard on herbs and teas; a few friends have lovingly nicknamed her cabinet “the apothecary.”
