Sophie is passionate about mobilizing resources for people and nature through strategic grant programs and collaboration. She brings prior grantmaking and project development experience partnering with Tribal Governments in the Pacific Northwest & Alaska at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Sophie brings an adaptable, flexible, trust-based approach to her work and strives to listen first and use inquiry to strengthen systems. Growing thriving, sustainable projects with care, compassion, and creativity is where she feels most empowered to make transformative change.

What brings Sophie joy outside of work

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys trail running, reading, and being an amateur at various crafts. She loves discovering new music, neighborhood walks, and backpacking adventures with friends.
