Paulina Lopez 

Paulina Lopez has more than 25 years of experience working on issues of civil rights, social environmental justice, equity, education and diversity. She is the Executive Director of the Duwamish River Cleanup Coalition Technical Advisory Group where she leads efforts to elevate the voice of those impacted by the Duwamish River pollution and other environmental injustices for a clean, healthy, equitable environment for people and wildlife. Paulina is a highly regarded organizer, facilitator, community and policy strategist, and movement builder focused on building systems of power and shifting power outward to those most impacted by injustice and oppression. Prior to her current role, she was a board member for the Georgetown Community Development Authority, co-founder of the Duwamish Valley Youth Corps, and executive director/board president of the South Park Information and Resource Center. Paulina graduated from St. Thomas University with an LLM, Master of Law in Intercultural Human Rights.  Originally from Ecuador, Paulina has lived in the Seattle area for more than 20 years and enjoys time with her three boys.
